Keeping the 5B halls clear enough

With the hotel asking for us to try to keep our numbers closer to fire code numbers in those rooms and posting less signs about party locations, how are going to keep the halls from becoming a problem?
The hotel sees the problem, and we obviously do to. I have talked with them. Clogging the halls is worse than the rooms. We need to try for neither. Our cooperation in attempting is worth more than actually keeping a strict head count. And the hotel understands that we can't be totally responsible for the roving masses of people, but needs our help to get it in check. This is our first attempt to do so, and as I understand, all groups involved know this a first attempt that may fail.
This is the hardest point for us to address.
I would like to hear suggestions.

I can tell you this much of what I.S.S. has planned, doing this is going to be a pain in ass, but we will be trying our best using our own people to keep the hallways open and the non-alcohol drinks flowing.
We may not be the biggest game in town but our food is known to pack people in with standing room only several times a night and the now enforced rules are not going to allow us to do what we normally do so we have some plans to keep the people fed, moving, and having fun.
We will have at least one person helping to keep traffic flowing, while we have door gaurds on both sides of 5b to help keep traffic flow moving between our areas.

The convention is going to help us alot with keeping things clear in the hallways. And it sounds like the hotel is going to understanding but hoping we can handle it.
With fewer parties our numbers will be up. Lets try to avoid lines in the hallway and help shuffle people to other parties to even things out.
WE CAN POST AS MANY SIGNS FOR PARTIES INSIDE OTHER PARTIES! They said we can't advertise publicly but each party is private. Just a thought.

THAT is good to know. what this means is we can each have part of a wall where were do signage!

Make sure you use painters tape (not masking tape) to put up signs. The hotel has come down hard on the convention about this, so I figure they will want the same from the parties.

Honestly I think that my I.S.S. team could have done better at times. We needed another person or two since we ended up losing a few pretty early due to other commitments.
Overall though I totally agree that we all did great.

With the return of a few more groups next year. We all just need to keep the party spread out and not have parties right across the hall from each other.
