Roommate Wanted
Posted: Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:30 pmSlightly off topic but one of the ways we fund our parties is by renting out rooms in our house (we however do not hold parties at the house). I would much rather take a reference from the con community then try our luck placing an add on a local lists. We would prefer to have another roommate that has similar life style and are into throwing parties. The rent with all utilities is $500/Month. We also are looking to find a female that would like to exchange demotic duties (house cleaning) for reduced rent. We are will to drop up to $300/month off the rent depending on agreed tasks. The cleaning option is not available to male because my wife does not believe male can pick up after themselves much less clean.
Features:
1) The bed room is well lit with a view of the mountains on the second floor.
2) Rent includes all utility except phone (we use cell phones).
3) High speed internet and extended cable.
4) Ample on street parking as well as secured paring in a fenced drive port.
5) Accost the street from main bus line (# 2) to down town.
6) Walking distance of grocery store market and a small hike to the train station
7) Full access to kitchen facility and large pantry with chest freezer
Three bathrooms (one shower and one shower/ full tub)
Our ideal roommate is stable (finically and emotionally), respectful of others, clean, nonsmoker, non pets, and honest. We would prefer to rent to one person but might consider a couple.
