I will be appearing.

There can't be room parties. Sounds like the furry con made the hotel upset.

We would need to rent a business suite to throw a party in. Last word on that was 400 a night. and you can't sleep there.

dumb.

Maybe if a couple groups or people wanted to throw in to share it. Otherwise f it!

*shrugs*

Welcome to the future of Convention Parties. Check your fun at the door.

This is why we signed a contract with the hotel across the street for 2009. We gave the full disclosure up front up front so everyone knew what they were getting.

I'm not one for supprises at game time, so this is why we choose to get things locked down now instead of worring about it later. It also means that if a hotel employee gets a bug up their ass (...and we've ALL met *THAT* Employee of the Year) we have a contrat that we can hold them to.

I'll be rolling through Rusty, but no one should expect me to stay for to long at a dead scene. Bling should also have a few announcements at Rusty too.

Report on Rustycon

Postby Gibbitt on Sat Jan 24, 2009 1:40 pm

The "city suites" at Rusty seemed to be okay, and at $50 for the weekend, (hell, even $50/night would have been okay), the 5 rooms that were booked (it was last minute) it was pretty effin' cool.

We were told that if we get all the rooms surrounding the atrium next year, we can have to pool and hot tub open all night. Sounds exciting to me. Plus, RC has a lot of GREAT meeting space and panel space, etc. INCLUDING the Atrium.
