Brock A. D. here. Also known as Captain Mindrayp of Unit 151, an as yet barely heard of clan. Been a con goer for about 10 years, only getting seriously involved recently. Have met many of you before, at Con and/or on Myspace.

Not meaning to step on any toes

Postby Chaoselemental on Sun Jan 27, 2008 7:04 pm

Hi there, my name is Peggy. I doubt anyone here knows me except for Byron (I am Rachel's friend who helped wrangle slaves last year).
I am not affiliated with any party group, yet, though I've been a congoer and party attendee for years - and even threw a few of my own in years gone past, but not anywhere local.

An introduction.

Postby PajVar on Thu Feb 07, 2008 4:39 pm

Hello everyone,

Coming to the forums a bit late as a result of real life, our group has been attending NWC forever, however somewhat under the radar as we haven't thrown a party in some time (we used to room host for Ogre's auctions and some side activities)

We're currently slated for the 2nd Floor lakeside, connector, and a few rooms adjacent.

Rapidly ramping up to meet all requirements, etc. And would definately like to get in contact with some of the other groups to double check ourselves :)

Seeing as how we're just about at that 45 day mark...any groups wishing to contact us can do so via 425-644-4356 / mrlhelms AT yahoo DOT com, or mrsjhelms AT yahoo dot com :)

Hey everybody. I'm just another interested member of the community. I've been attending Norwescon for 8 or so years now.

(I think I also have the privilege of being the 50th registered member of this forum. :D )

edit: ok, I'm really number 49, but I was fooled by my member50.html profile. A girl's gotta have dreams...

Tenets of the Dean Stockwell Faith:

Do not follow the path of the divine, Walk the path.
Become divine yourself.

Visit worship centers of the Bakula and praise them for their efforts on your behalf.
Visit centers of worship of other pagan gods, false deities, and those that would welcome your celebration and ascendance in joy and sharing. Find all good parties, and places of celebration, for each is a step upon the path to ascendance. Raise a glass to their labors and honor them by imbibing in their holy water (Alcoholic beverages)

Know in your heart that the Bakula is not Holy but merely an ascended being. Dean came first.
Know that you too can become an ascended being. Dean wants you to ascend and be your ultimate self.
Ascension starts somewhere near .08% give or take body weight and tolerance.

Visit these places of worship often. Take pride in your growing knowledge and holiness upon the paths of enlightenment. Share in your knowledge and bring others to enjoy the fruits of the labors of the Cult of Scott Bakula.

Never purchase your own holy water, Dean says: “let the Bakula provide.”
Appreciate their effort and donate a token to their cause for they toil hard on your behalf.

Walk the path slowly and carefully, ascending too fast can lead to sensations of vertigo and physical impairment as you raise your consciousness too quickly.

Upon feeling the first sensations of ascendance go forth and be fruitful. Find a mate, or another Heretic to practice with. Begat more little Heretics. Or again, just practice. We all could use the practice. Too much of the first steps of ascendance will make finding another potential Heretic to “practice” with difficult. Also the vertigo is troubling. Gently and carefully is best. When you are ready for faster travel to higher levels of ascendance, you will know.

Move on to other places of worship and study. For the Cult needs to ready the altar and rooms of worship for further duties, and their toil must begin anew. Dean wishes you to be free to travel and ease yourself into new surroundings of knowledge and enlightenment. In other words…
Leave the places of worship before it is time to clean up.

These are the holy tenets of our faith.
Praise be to Dean.
